"I believe we have a good team still to challenge once again" said GM Clarence Chai. "We have kept tabs on what has been happening around the league but we won't jump the gun. There will definitely be some changes, but probably not as drastic. We need to fill our farm with some defense first but we will wait until the free agency period starts. Currently nothing floating across the trade winds interest us. We are open to listening to any calls though."
The Blues have a abundance of blue liners up on the pro, some who will most likely be let go to free agency. As for the forwards, it seems to be pretty set, with drafted Chris Kreider taking on the departed Brandon Dubinsky's spot, Kyle Decoste promoted from the farm and John Lammers acquired a few weeks earlier from Detroit. To note, the Blues also acquired Guillaume Lantendresse who will round out the top 2 lines for their farm.
