Division Preview

Welcome to the new season of the PHL. The Whalers would just like to put in their two cents for this upcoming year in the Adams division.

Eventhough the Whalers have a new GM in Mr. Gagne and may follow tactics that are new and unique, we are confident in our abilities.

The Adams division looks like it will be tight this year but the Whalers have already set their sights on some definate rivals. For example:

The Big Bad Bruins might look tough (hahaha) on paper and may try some mental games since Mr. MacIntyre has been mentoring Mr. Gagne from the Whalers. Spezza, the goalie, is no match for Miller (and for that matter, neither are any of the other goalies in the division). The dman pairing of Morris and Seabrook seem imposing but will end up letting an ocean of players past them straight to their goal. A line of Doan, Staal and Bayda could give a little challenge but the emphasis is on little. This man's opinion is that they will rank 2nd in the division.

If the Sabres don't change much from the pre-season, I can see them failing tremendously. My predictions for them is 3rd in the Adams and is about all I have to say (Kiprusoff-what a joke!!).

Now to the Canadiens and the Nordiques. French, what else is there to be said. WIMPY AND INDECISIVE!! I will give little respect to the Canadiens but due to goaltending I see them finishing 4th. The Nordiques, I'm sorry, will fall to 5th in the Adams with the hopes of players like Kovalchuk, Hinote and Kuba failing miserably.

Now to give a most accurate description of a fantastically talented and optimistic team, THE WHALERS!! (Pausing for applause) Ryan miller will step up his game(not that he really has to) this season due to a long and inspirational talk with his GM, Mr. Gagne. The work ethic of Miller has definately been noticed by the captain, Marek Svatos and he has taken the efforts and pushed them onto others like Mike Green, Kyle Wellwood, Joe Levin, Blair Jones and surprising call up Patrick Maroon. The Whalers must serve notice to the rest of the Adams division that eventhough we have a new GM, the boys will triumph. Obviously our predictions are for the Whalers to finish 1st in the ADAMS division.

As for the rest of the teams in the PHL, WHO CARES!!!!!! The Adams division is the cream of the crop in the PHL and the RULER that all others are measured. Good luck to all,
